N.L.D.F. Covenant with GOD
1. We will be a church that trusts in
HIS authority.
*His authority is universal...He has authority over diseases, demons, sin,
nature, suffering, & nations
*His authority is purposeful...
Our success is not based on who we are or what we can do...
Our success is based on who Jesus is and what He is capable of doing in
our lives.
2. We will be a church that obeys HIS strategy.
*Two options:
We can follow our own strategy....but...we would have to 'hope' for
God's blessings
or
We can follow Christ's strategy...and...we are guaranteed His blessings.
*Christ's strategy:
- Christ is our vision
- Making disciples is our mission
"Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them
to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am
with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
going - Show the Word
baptizing - Share the Word
teaching - Teach the Word
in all nations - Serve the World
- People are our dreams
- The world is our goal
3. We will be a church that depends on
His presence.
*We have the promise of His presence
*We have the power of His presence
