New Life Deaf Fellowship…

LOVING GOD, LOVING PEOPLE, AND SERVING THE WORLD

 

LOVE GOD                         Every member at New Life Deaf Fellowship is expected to be a regular participant in the worship services where they will draw closer to God.

LOVE OTHERS                  The people of New Life Deaf Fellowship should be involved in a Bible Study class and/or a small group so they will be connected to others in the church.

SERVE THE WORLD        New Life Deaf Fellowship has numerous ministry opportunities to serve others.  Members should be involved in at least one of these opportunities.

 

Four Areas of New Life Deaf Fellowship

 

Simplify -- Having activities that have a purpose…Having a clear process or structure for making disciples, in obedience to the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20.

Deepen -- Deepening people’s knowledge of God’s Word and His truths.

Expect -- Having high expectations from church members…The high-expectation church expects much and receives much from its members… As a result, the church exodus is minimized.

Multiply  -- Helping church members multiply spiritually…Evangelism is part of the heartbeat of the church…Missions and ministry are common in the lives of the members…The church seeks to plant other churches.

 

Mission Statement
The mission of New Life Deaf Fellowship is to bring the Deaf to a relationship with
God through Jesus Christ.
 
Purpose Statement
As Christians, we seek to SHARE the gospel, leading people to Christ and church membership, to LEAD people to spiritual maturity, to TRAIN people for ministry, to PREPARE people with the MISSION of sharing Christ.  By doing so we are acting in obedience to the commands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
 
The purpose of our church is based on two scriptures:
 
The Great Commandment...
"Jesus said, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it:  Love your neighbor as yourself.  All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.'"

The Great Commission...
"Jesus said, 'Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.'"
